Headpieces for people who dress like they walked out of a story.

MOSTORY is a small headpiece studio. We design and hand-assemble crowns, horns, headbands and hair vines for renaissance faires, cosplay, weddings, festivals and photoshoots — the moments when an outfit needs to become a character.

What we make

Our range runs from woodland flower crowns and elf circlets to antler and horn headbands, crystal tiaras, feather crowns and renaissance accessories. Each design is made in a small family of colorways, so you can match a palette rather than settle for whatever is left.

How it is made

Every piece is assembled by hand in small batches. We work with faux florals and foliage, resin and clay elements, glass and crystal beads, feathers and hand-painted finishes. Because each one is built by hand, small differences in petal placement, tone and finish are normal — that is what makes an individual piece individual.

Fit and comfort

Most crowns sit on a flexible headband, a ribbon tie or a comb-and-clip base, and are designed to stay put through a long day on your feet. If a piece feels tight on arrival, the band can usually be gently reshaped by hand.

Where they are worn

Renaissance faires and medieval festivals, fairy and woodland photoshoots, Halloween and cosplay events, bridal and bridesmaid styling, and everyday cottagecore looks.

Caring for your headpiece

Store it flat or on a stand, away from direct sun. Keep it away from water, perfume and hairspray, and spot clean with a soft dry cloth. When travelling, pack it in a box with tissue rather than a bag.
